Our cafe runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 10.00 - 2.30pm and offers a
healthy menu with table service in a modern, friendly, smoke free environment.
The cafe is a partnership project between Click Learning Centre and Supported
Employment Services attracting funding from several sources, including
organisations from the Alloa South and East area such as the Social Inclusion
Partnership (SIP) and the Healthy Futures Network.
The SIP funding contribution enabled the modernisation of the kitchen and the
Healthy Futures Network provided funding for the cooker. Supported Employment
Services European funding bid resourced equipment for the cafe and staff to
support 9 trainees in work skills and career development, the aim being to
progress them into employment. The commitment from trainees and staff ensures
and excellent food facility in a friendly environment.
Clicks long-term goal is to open a cafe everyday and future funding and partners
will be sought to do just that!
